Police: Kalamazoo Man Stabbed After Cell Phone Argument

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Feb. 20, 2014) — A 39-year-old man is in custody after a stabbing Thursday at the Kalamazoo Transportation Center, 49 N. Burdick St.

Public safety officials say the suspect stabbed a 36-year-old Kalamazoo man multiple times in the torso after an argument over a cell phone.  The attack happened at about 5:45 p.m.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
