GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (February 9, 2014) – Grand Rapids Police say a man is in serious condition in the hospital after an assault late Saturday night.
Officers say a fight broke out near a home around 11 p.m. Saturday near Martha Street SW and Underhill Avenue SW. When a homeowner found this man left unconscious, police say he was lying in the snow near the street, without wearing a coat.
Police say this man was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Officers believe this group of people fighting know each other, at least as acquaintances, and were together inside the home earlier Saturday.
