HARTFORD, Mich. — A pileup on eastbound I-94 that involved 16 semis and several passenger vehicles kept Michigan State Police troopers busy for hours on Monday evening.
A series of three separate crashes happened between the 44 and 48 mile markers, closing the freeway for over six hours. At least 16 semis and a few other cars were involved, during heavy snow and icy road conditions.
There were several minor injuries reported, as well as one critical injury.
