WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — As expected, the wind really ramped up during the day on Friday. It appears it will stay pretty windy all night as well. This will continue to create blowing and drifting of snow, with greatly-reduced visibility.
The image above shows the forecast of wind and wind gusts Saturday morning. As you can see, most areas will be sustained over 30 miles per hour with gusts to over 40. The wind is expected to diminish somewhat during the afternoon.

Some areas had even higher wind gusts:
- Ludington, 58mph
- Norton Shores, 52mph
- Castle Park (Allegan Co.), 51mph
