ELKHART, IN (WSJV-TV)- Over 500 people came out to the Martin’s Super Market on East Bristol Saturday night for a candlelight vigil.
Members of the community are supporting the victims in Wednesday’s deadly shooting. Family members of the victims were also at the vigil.
We spoke to Rachelle Godfread’s brother who said tonight’s event was heart-warming.
“It feels good to see the community come together and its very heartwarming, a time like this a lot of times its about blame and finding reasons for what happened but I’m happy to see people come together,” says Vince Vossnack.
Police say Shawn Bair shot and killed Krystle Dykes and Rachelle Godfread before police shot and killed him inside the grocery store
