LEXINGTON, Ky. — Just how cold has it been this week? Apparently so cold, that an escaped inmate’s frigid freedom was simply too cold to handle.
On Sunday, Robert Vick escaped from a minimum security facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Little did he know, temperatures outside were in the low single digits, not to mention the sub-zero wind chills.
He was out in the elements for several hours, but it was apparently too cold for Vick to handle. He walked to a motel and asked the clerk to call the police. Paramedics checked him out, and then turned him back over to police.
