BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The latest round of snow and sub-zero temperatures are making it no fun for guys like James Hamden.
This trucker lives in Florida and was on his way from Zeeland to Boston when he stopped to check on break lines and fuel up in Battle Creek. He says the biggest issue today is the high winds and blowing snow. It makes it sway so you have to use extra caution for that ya, and swaying on ice is no fun.”
Eric Hannan is From Boston and he was on his way to Indiana. Hannan will have to spend the night in his truck because I 94 has been shut down and the location for his delivery is not even open.
“Oh it stinks ya it throws everything off, appointment times, places being closed and people who do not know how to drive in it…it just causes big problems.
In the end the guys driving the big rigs just want to get where they have to go safe.
