Coldwater Digs Out in Frigid Wind Chill

Posted

COLDWATER, Mich — Residents and city workers in Coldwater are digging out in frigid temperatures and wind chill.

“It’s only going to get colder tonight, a little more wind, and just make it a little more harder on road crews,” Dave Sattler, municipal services director said.

His crew came in at 4 a.m. this morning to clear what had fallen Sunday night. The crew is working a 12 hour shift, Sattler said. He said a “snow emergency” was declared and a warning was issued to residents telling them not to park on the streets. Crews need to be able to plow the streets thoroughly.
