ROCKFORD, Mich. — Thirty-three students at Lake Elementary School in Rockford donated 100 handmade scarves to the Salvation Army.
Students from Tammy Loranger’s fifth-grade class helped deliver the scarves to Salvation Army’s divisional headquarters in Grand Rapids Tuesday.
The flannel scarves, roughly 60 inches long each, are intended for community members who don’t have warm clothing during the winter months.
