PORTAGE, Mich. — A 29-year-old Kalamazoo man was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered serious injuries after a crash in Portage Tuesday.
The man was traveling southbound on S. Westnedge when he struck an SUV turning west onto Trade Centre Way. Police were called to the scene at about 3:11 p.m.
According to a release, the driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries. Portage officials say speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
