DOUGLAS, Mich. — Voters in Allegan County have voted against the consolidation of Saugatuck and Douglas.
The numbers were released at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday night.
The Douglas Village Clerk says about 50 percent of eligible voters have cast a vote in Tuesday’s election.
Jean Neve described the turnout as “huge.”

DOUGLAS: AGAINST 385 FOR 226 TOTAL 611
