GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — On Saturday, November 9, Newport News Shipbuilding will christen the nation’s newest aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during a ceremony on-site where the ship is being constructed. The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum will show a live broadcast of the festivities in the auditorium beginning at 11:00 a.m. with cake following the program.
There will be no admission charged on Saturday, November 9th at the Museum.
