ROSCOMMON County, Mich. — Michael Trute, 20, and Ashley Carpenter, 19, have been found, according to the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Department. They are safe in Clare County.
A viewer watching the news recognized the pair and called authorities, a deputy told FOX 17.
The sheriff’s department plans to release more details Monday morning.
