CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 38-year-old man was transported to the hospital Monday night with a head injury after an accident in Kent County.
According to deputies, Richard Velting was hit by a car driven by 20-year-old Alec Vredenburg at the intersection of Sunfish Lake Avenue and Kreuter Road in Cannon Township at approximately 7:22 p.m. His injuries were non-life threatening.
