GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Photographs of the suspect in the Bridge Street Chemical Bank robbery were released Tuesday by Grand Rapids police.
The suspect has been described as a white male between 24 and 30 years old between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall with facial hair and aviator-type sunglasses. He was last seen wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt and jeans. He allegedly entered the bank at 11:50 a.m., told employees he had a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
This bank, located at 910 Bridget St., is the second in two days to be hit in the Grand Rapids area. However, no money was taken during the Monday robbery at the Chase Bank on Leonard Street NW because police say a teller refused to give the armed suspect anything.
Anyone with any information on either of these crimes should contact Grand Rapids Police Department at 616-456-3400 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
