BURR OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich- Two men are in the St. Joseph County Jail after a search warrant uncovered a working meth lab in Burr Oak Township.
According to the St. Joesph County Sheriff Department, Deputies served a search warrant for methamphetamine production and stolen property. When Deputies arrived at the home, they found two male residents as well as an active methamphetamine lab. They also found several grams of methamphetamine as well as precursors to manufacture more meth.
The two men were arrested for operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab, possession of meth, and maintaining a drug house.
Charges are also being sought after a woman who was not at the home at the time of the search warrant.
Additional charges could be forthcoming for stolen property that was located inside the residence.
This case remains under investigation.
