GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — The list of events is seemingly endless for the first weekend of the fifth ArtPrize competition in Grand Rapids. There is a full posting online, with events for people of all ages.
Some events include:
- Guided walking tours with an artist, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. You’re encouraged to sign up early to get a spot.
- All-day pottery demonstrations on Saturday at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel
- Free balloons for the first 500 kidsto arrive at the JW Marriott on Saturday afternoon
