KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Western Michigan University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School will formally sign an affiliation between the two schools Sept. 17.
According to both schools’ websites, the private law school will be renamed the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. The Tuesday event at WMU’s Kalamazoo campus is expected to include officials and graduates of both schools.
This agreement has been speculated about for several years. Trustees at WMU approved the agreement in July.
