GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Organizers of this year’s ArtPrize competition are still looking for hundreds more volunteers to help out during the event.
The competition requires about 4,000 helpers and around 500 are still needed.
Jobs include artist hosting, voter registration and leadership positions. There are also two new positions this year, docents, who answer questions about specific art pieces, and Kids Room supervisors.
Training for these positions runs from Sept. 9 to Sept. 14. The competition begins Sept. 18 and ends Oct. 6.
