(CNN) — One person was killed and others were injured Wednesday morning in stabbings at a high school just north of Houston, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
The stabbings happened at Spring High School shortly after 7 a.m. CT, the office said.
Information on who was stabbed, what led to the stabbings and whether anyone was arrested wasn’t immediately available.
Law enforcement officers were securing the site Wednesday morning, and it appeared no one else was in immediate danger, the sheriff’s office said.
The school is about 20 miles north-northwest of central Houston.
