WYOMING, Mich. — The man accused of assaulting a Rapid bus driver has pleaded no contest, according to Wyoming District Court.
Christopher Berry was sentenced to 45 days in jail, but given credit for time served after pleading guilty to assault and battery. He was also ordered to pay $200 in court costs.
The video of Berry’s July 9 encounter with the driver shows him approach and threaten her, before she fought him off with an unbuckled seat belt. He fled and turned himself in July 21.
