Grand Haven’s VFW Hosting 1st Ever Hog Roast

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — The VFW is getting ready to celebrate the end of the Coast Guard Festival with a hog roast and entertainment tent.

All of the fun takes place on August 1-3 at 20 N. First Street.  It is free to get in but the pig roast is $7 per person or $4 for children 12 and under. The pig roast starts at 5 p.m. on Friday.

There is plenty of entertainment planned each night.

August 1 is Country Rock night with Shelagh Brown Band and Sanger Brothers Band. Entertainment tent opens at 5:00 p.m. Bands start at 6:30 p.m.

August 2 is Rock to the Core night with Two-Heded Chan and Deadwood Stone. Entertainment Tent opens at 12:00 Noon. Bands start at 6:30 p.m.

August 3 is Classic Rock night with Foundation and Ruxy Muzik. Entertainment Tent opens at 12:00 Noon. Bands start at 6:30 p.m.
