HOLLAND, Mich.- Holland Police are investigating an accident on 24th street and U.S. 31 after a crash just after four this morning.
Police say Joseph Fenwick was going west on 24th street when he ran a red light causing the accident. That accident caused some of his four kids, ages 10, 7, 5, and 2 to be thrown from the car. The entire family was hurt and injuries ranged from fractured bones to cuts, they were all taken to the hospital for treatment. The other driver in the accident was not injured.
Police say Fenwick did not have a valid driver’s license and the case will be sent to the prosecutor for review. Officers say speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
