“Fourth”-Cast: Warm, Mainly Dry

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — It was cool and wet on Tuesday, July 2 in West Michigan, but warmer temperatures are on the way for the Holiday Weekend.

This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track HD, shows dry conditions around 10:00pm on Thursday. This is about the time many fireworks displays will get underway. Temperatures will likely be in the upper 70s at this time, though it will be a little cooler near Lake Michigan.

It will be warm and humid for the remainder of the holiday weekend as well, though not nearly as oppressive as last year. Highs will be in the 80s. Last July 4, the high in Grand Rapids was 99º. It was 101º on the 5th and 104º on the 6th.
