WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — It’s been a muggy week here in West Michigan, but there is some relief on the way from the heat and humidity.
This image is from our in-house computer model, Future Track, and shows temperatures early Saturday. It will be a similar situation for Sunday morning as well. Further, afternoon highs will only be in the 70s this weekend, so many people can give their air conditioners a break for a few days.
Looking ahead to Independence Day, it won’t be nearly as hot as it was last year. In Grand Rapids, the high last July 4th was 99º, while in Muskegon it was 92º. This year, it looks like highs will be in the 80s.
