WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. — A two-year-old boy from Grand Haven has died in northern Michigan, after police say he was pulled from a lake, unconscious.
It happened just outside of Cadillac in Lake Mitchell on Monday afternoon. According to the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, the two-year-old boy and his family were staying at a summer home in the area. The boy was first reported missing, and then shortly after that initial report, there was a call to 911 that reported a child had been found in the lake.
Attempts at CPR were unsuccessful. The boy was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
No names have been released at this time.
