PLAINWELL, Mich. — Police and firefighters are responding to several chemical explosions at a drug and lab disposal building at 331 Broad Street in Plainwell.
Unknown chemicals began exploding in the building Monday afternoon, according to the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department. It is unknown how many injuries were caused by the explosion.
The Drug and Laboratory Disposal is a licensed facility for drug and chemical disposal as well as a receiver of medical waste.
