Aeromed File Photo FOX 17LAKETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich.  — A two-car crash in Laketown Township near Graafschaap sent a 6-year-old boy to the hospital with severe, life-threatening head lacerations late Friday afternoon.

AeroMed was called in to transport the boy to Butterworth Hospital after the car his mom was driving was broadsided and rolled over at the 147th Avenue and 62nd Street intersection.  The mother was treated and released, and another, older child from the car is being treated for minor bumps and bruises.

According to the Graafschaap Fire Department, the other car in the accident was driven by a single occupant who was not injured.  They say that that person ran a stop sign and hit the other car.
