GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A beautiful afternoon and evening in store for Friday as clear skies and light winds will create pleasant and comfortable weather. Afternoon highs will warm into the mid to upper 70’s through the early evening before falling quickly overnight into the low 50’s. Despite the cool start to Saturday morning temperatures will stay in the upper 70’s by afternoon. Clouds will be on the increase through the afternoon but rain chances should hold off for the first half of the day. Better chances for rain will return for Saturday evening and overnight but should end by early Sunday morning.
Chances for scattered thunderstorms to develop Sunday afternoon are increasing however storms that do develop should be scattered and short-lived with many areas not seeing much rain at all. Temperatures will remain in the upper 70’s and low 80’s leading to a pleasant weekend. Chances for scattered storms stick around for Monday but we dry out as we head into the middle part of next week and temperatures will remain in the low 80’s through the end of next week.
