MARTIN, Mich- A nine-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle Saturday night driven by and 18-year-old male, when she was leaving the B-93 Birthday Bash. Allegan County Sheriff’s say that the incident happened around 10 p.m and that alcohol is a factor in this accident.
The driver was trying to bypass traffic when he struck the nine-year-old girl according to Deputies.
The nine-year-old girl was taken to Devos Children’s Hospital for her injuries.
According to Michigan State Police, multiple people were arrested last night for DUI after leaving the event. There have been no incidents today thus far.
There are an estimated 70,000 people at the event this weekend.
