GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After a cool start to Friday temperatures will start a gradual warming trend. Afternoon high temperatures warm into the upper 60’s and low 70’s Friday. There is a slight chance for some light rain showers to develop through Friday afternoon however showers will be spotty and short-lived with many areas not seeing a drop of rain.
Calm winds and clear skies Friday night will lead to rapidly dropping temperatures overnight. Many areas will drop into the 40;s and 50’s before sunrise.
Clear skies Saturday morning will help warm temperatures quickly Saturday afternoon with afternoon highs warming up into the mid to upper 70’s. Weather Saturday will be very pleasant and comfortable for all of the outdoor activities going on in West Michigan.
Rain chances will increase through the afternoon Sunday, with widespread rain and thunderstorms possible late in the evening and overnight.
