GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Chilly temperatures Monday morning resulted in a little frost around West Michigan, and required a different wardrobe than many would like for the beginning of June.
Readings dipped into the mid to upper 30s for many spots north of Grand Rapids, with low 40s showing up elsewhere around West Michigan. Average morning lows for early June are in the low to mid-50s.
Sunshine will warm things up quickly during the day, though, with highs reaching the mid to upper 60s in the afternoon. A light lake breeze may keep things a touch cooler along the lakeshore.
Sun will hold on through most of Tuesday before some clouds return. There’s a slight chance of a shower Tuesday night, but most of the area will stay dry until late in the day Wednesday.
