BATTLE CREEK, Mich- Around 9 a.m. Saturday morning, two men were fight in a front yard in the 600 block of W. Van Buren Street in Battle Creek when a third man got out of an SUV and fired several shots at one of the combatants.
One of the round struck the home and the another round struck a 22-year-old black male in the leg. The shooter then fled the scene in a grey SUV.
The victim was taken to a local Battle Creek Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with any information are ask to call the Battle Creek Police Department or Silent Observer.
