NEW YORK. — Several streets were shut down in Times Square Wednesday morning as police investigated a suspicious package.
The NYPD bomb squad responded to the suspicious item on 42nd Street shortly after 9 a.m. and gave the all clear just before 10 a.m.
Streets in the area reopened a short time later.
No threat was located.
