GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The family of a mother of five missing for more than seven weeks is finally getting some answers into her disappearance. Thursday, Latrice Maze’s former boyfriend is expected to be in court and formally charged with her murder.
According to the Kent County Prosecutor’s office, Jahleel Hoskins faces open murder and tampering with evidence charges.
FOX 17 checked, and Hoskins is in the Kent County Jail for a parole violation charge. He is being held without bond.
Maze disappeared March 19. Her family says she was supposed to pick up her kids from school that day. While Maze’s body has not yet been found, we’re told her family is making funeral arrangements.
