GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A charge of open murder was authorized for the murder of Latrice Maze, a mother of five who went missing March 19th.
According to the Kent County Prosecutor’s office charges were issued for Maze’s former boyfriend, Jahleel Hoskins. The charge is for open murder and tampering with evidence, as first reported via Twitter by FOX 17’s Mitch Fick.
Last week, family members told FOX 17 Maze’s disappearance classified as a homicide investigation; however, Grand Rapids Police Department would not comment on the details of the case. The department did say, however, Maze’s disappearance has turned criminal.
FOX 17 checked and Hoskins is in the Kent County Jail for a parole charge. He is being held without bond.
Maze’s body has not yet been found.
