Cannon Township, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriffs Department tells FOX 17 News that around 3:45 pm on Monday an adult was riding a bicycle with a young child that was in a safety stroller, when they were struck by a vehicle. The accident happened at 5353 Belding Road. State Police Troopers and Cannon Township Fire responded to the scene. After further investigation The Michigan State Police took the driver and passenger of the vehicle into custody on suspicion of drunk driving.
The adult and child on the bike suffered minor injuries.
