NORTON SHORES, Mich.– Chief Daniel Shaw says the man police have been questioning for the past two days is no longer the focus of the investigation in the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa.

Investigators are now shifting and looking at additional names in tips that have been recieved. Shaw says they were establish the mans whereabouts on Friday night. He also says the man looked nothing like the sketch.

Shaw also said they have collected some evidence from outside of the gas station, some kind of substance but whether its DNA or something else he doesn’t know yet. He says its all apart of normal procedure to have things like that tested at a crime scene and  right now it is being processed at the crime lab to determine just exactly what that is.
