LANSING, Mich. — Legislation is being introduced in Lansing that will make it illegal for bridge cards to be used in strip clubs and liquor stores.
The measure is sponsored by state senator rick jones. During the last session, he sponsored legislation banning bridge card use in casinos. A new federal law requires states to prevent access to electronic benefits at atm machines located in casinos, gaming establishments, liquor stores, or any business that provides adult-orientated entertainment. The measure would bring the state into compliance to prevent a federal fine.
