VILLAGE OF SHERIDAN, Mich — A man who was recently fired has been arrested for breaking into the place he used to work.
The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Department handled an alarm call at 1:17 Sunday morning, from Wrights Plastic Products in Sheridan. The deputies started searching inside, and they found a man trying to pry open the change machine in the break room.
The suspect then ran out into the woods nearby, and deputies followed him. They used a taser, then arrested him.
The 37-year-old Carson City man now faces breaking and entering charges, as well as possession of burglary tools charges. He’s being held without bond until his arraignment.
