LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich- Two teenagers in Cass County were hurt after a crash Saturday evening. It happened around 7:15 on Peavine Street near Oak Grove Road.
Deputies say a 16-year-old boy from Dowagiac tried to pass another vehicle then started to lose control. They say he then over-corrected on his steering wheel and ended up flipping his car.
The driver was airlifted to South Bend Memorial to be treated for his injuries. His passenger, a 17-year-old girl, was taken to Dowagiac Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Deputies say both teens were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.
That crash remains under investigation.
