KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A convicted felon is expected to be arraigned today in connection to a murder that happened in 1993.
Grady Shields Jr. is accused of killing Lois Cox that year. She was found shot in her car, and the case eventually went cold, until Feb. 2013 when investigators connected Shields to the murder.
Shields is already behind bars for other crimes that include armed robbery and felony assault, and today he is expected to be arraigned on felony murder charges.
