BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — On April 19, 2013 a portion of the City of Battle Creek water system was advised of the need to boil all tap water used for drinking and cooking. The area involved in this Boil Water Advisory is as follows.
Capital Avenue SW from Goguac to the following addresses
587 Capital Avenue SW, 589 Capital Avenue SW,
and the Dollar General Store located at 588 Capital Avenue SW,
Webber from Capital Avenue SW to Washington,
Burnham Street East from Capital Avenue SW to Roe Street,
Burnham Street West from Capital Avenue SW to Meachem Avenue,
Boulder Street from Burnham Street West to Burr Street.
The City of Battle Creek has determined it is no longer necessary to use bottled water or boil water before drinking or cooking. Follow-up sampling has confirmed no coliform bacteriaare present in the water supply.
