GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – (FOX 17)
Unseasonably cold temperatures this morning thanks to west-northwest winds bringing cooler Canadian air into West Michigan. Breezy winds make it feel even cooler this morning with wind chills falling into the mid to upper teens! Cooler temperatures and winds off of the lake have created some lake effect snow showers this morning. Accumulations are not likely due to the warmer ground but some grassy areas could see a dusting. Snow showers will start to let up around sunrise but temperatures will be slow to rise. Afternoon high temperatures will only warm into the low to mid forties but feeling more like thirties.
