DETROIT, Mich. – The Detroit Police Department has confirmed that a little girl who went missing overnight has been located.
Her name is Iyana Oldham, an image of whom was published by WDIV in Detroit. As of 7:00 a.m., an official Amber Alert cancellation had not gone out, but police do confirm that Iyana has been located, and was brought to the police station by a family member.
It is believed that she was taken by her mother’s ex-boyfriend, identified as Desmond Johnson. Police say he called the girl’s mother, saying he was going to kill her.
