GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– It’s garage sale season, and one of the biggest resale events in West Michigan drew thousands to the Downtown Grand Rapids this weekend.

Parents browsed gently used clothes, toys and other goods at the giant Mom-to-Mom sale at DeVos Place, Saturday. Organizers say they have two sales a year. This was their annual Spring sale. One thing organizers noticed was how many items were on sale for sets of twins.

Proceeds from today’s sale go towards the Alpha Woman’s Center. It’s a place for women and their children to go who come from insecure living environments.

“It’s a great win win for those who are selling items,” said organizer, Denise Kolesar. “It’s a great win win for the alpha women’s center. And, it’s a great win win for those who are purchasing and selling items.”

The next Mom-to-Mom sale is September 14th.
