GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — As rain gradually tapers off over the next day or two, flooding concerns will continue on area rivers and streams through the weekend and beyond.

Most flooding is expected to be minor, but water will remain high for at least the next week on many of the larger rivers in West Michigan.

The National Weather Service updates its flooding forecasts around the area multiple times a day.  Those forecasts can be found by clicking this link.

Outside of the riverside areas around West Michigan, considerable nuisance flooding of yards, fields, and basements is likely to continue.  Several more rain chances are likely over the next seven days, with more heavy rain possible at a couple of points next week.

You can find the updated 7 Day Forecast and interactive radar on the Weather page.
