MORLEY, Mich. — A Morley family of four has been left homeless by a fire Thursday.

Shortly after Carl Jones and Wendijo Cupp, their 13-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son left their mobile home on 200th Street near 4 Mile Road, a neighbor noticed the house was on fire and called firefighters. The home, an addition and an attached garage all sustained extensive damage and everything inside was destroyed.

The family’s five dogs and a neighbor’s puppy they were baby-sitting all died in the fire.

Jones and Cupp are engaged and scheduled to be married in June.

The family is in need of clothing, toiletries, food, etc. Anyone able to help should contact Bethanne at (231) 856-7743 for more information.
