GRAND RAPIDS — Delta Flight 1392 was diverted to Gerald R. Ford International Airport Thursday evening, as the flight reported “pressurization problems”, causing the jet with 153 on board, to make an unscheduled / diverted landing in Grand Rapids.
The Delta jetliner landed safely with the crew and passengers. Luckily, Delta also had a flight from Detroit to Grand Rapids that landed earlier and it so happens to be the same exact type of plane. The passengers boarded the second jet and continued on to Boston overnight.
The diverted plane will be repaired overnight and make the other plane’s flight Friday without any further interruptions.
