Is there a guy at your office that always seems to be the one on the verge of being fired and instead, he gets promoted? And you can’t figure out how he does it? The answer is office politics.
And that brings us to Jay Leno. Word is, that Leno is about to be fired. I’ll believe it when I see it. Leno is the Jason Voorhees of late night television. Everytime you think he’s gone for good, there he is again.
The latest, is that Jimmy Fallon has been told he’s getting Leno’s job. The Saturday Night Live alumni is immensely talented, likeable and non-offensive. He also attracts a younger audience with his legendary song and dance parody duets that have made him and internet star. Leno, has been there before. David Letterman, who was on NBC’s Late Show, was the heir apparent to Johnny Carson, but according to the book, “The Late Shift”, Leno snuck into an NBC office and listened to high level conversations. He used the information to steal the job. Letterman went to CBS.
